Traduction en langue anglaise:

[verse 1]
The clouded moon is visible in Higashiyama
Every night the signal fire is hazy and visible
The crimson cherry tree invites in the dream
My secret love is for your long sleeved kimono
I Love Gion, love Maiko so much
Oh pretty Darari Obi

The fresh cool wind in the summer evening river
The cute white neck under the paper-lantern
The vivid red lips with tear hidden
My heart burns like a Daimon-ji
I Love Gion, love Maiko so much
Oh pretty Darari Obi

[verse 2]
The water of the Kamo River decreases
The water's sound and the bell's sounds are audible
The autumn wind blows through the withered willow
My tears flow tonight all night as well
I Love Gion, love Maiko so much
Oh pretty Darari Obi

The snow falls softly at the round window
Enjoy a secret meeting, setting down face to face with you
I feel the cold even near a light, the night is advanced.
The mooring pillow, the chidori in the river
I Love Gion, love Maiko so much
Oh pretty Darari Obi
